1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Aeronautical Society of Nepal ("AeSN", "we", "us") website, member portal, and related services. By creating an account, becoming a member, or using this site, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the site.

2. Membership

Membership is open to individuals who support the Society's mission and is granted at the discretion of the Executive Committee after a completed application and, where applicable, payment of the membership fee.

Your membership tier, number, and renewal obligations are as stated on your membership record in the portal. Membership is personal to you and is not transferable.

We may suspend or revoke membership for non-payment, misrepresentation in an application, or conduct that harms the Society, its members, or its reputation. Fees already paid are non-refundable in that case.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

Accounts are personal. You may not share your account or create an account on behalf of another person. The name and contact details you register must be your own and must be accurate.

We may remove accounts that were created with another person's information, that are duplicates, or that breach these terms.

4. Acceptable use

When using the site — including member articles, comments, and event registrations — you agree not to:

• post unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or fraudulent content;
• impersonate others;
• upload malicious code;
• scrape or reuse content in bulk without permission; or
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, member data, or our systems.

We may moderate, edit, or remove content you post, and may report unlawful content to the relevant authorities.

5. Member content

You keep ownership of articles, comments, and photos you submit. By posting them you grant AeSN a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute them on this site and in Society communications.

Only post content you have the right to share, and respect the confidentiality of members-only material.

6. Events and payments

Event registrations, membership fees, and store orders are confirmed once payment is verified by our staff. Refunds for events and merchandise follow the specific event or product terms shown at the time of purchase.

Prices are shown in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) unless stated otherwise.

7. Intellectual property

The AeSN name, logo, and site design are the property of the Society and may not be used without permission. Content provided by third parties or members remains theirs, used here under the licences described above.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change, and we may modify these terms; significant changes will be announced on the site. Continuing to use the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.
